A little girl with broken shoes
Walks to school alone
She must be 5 or 6 they say
And violence must be prone
She walks into class
With a sad little frown
And hopes to god
That no one looks down
The hem of her dress Is torn to shreds
While everyone else Has brand new keds
The sad little girl
Has lost her fight
For she just went through,
her darkest night

It's tough to hear of kids living with pain. But at the same time, it draws me to them. A touching write.

Very sad and a very sad comment on our society. Where the biggest problems we have is trying to fit in. There are real troubles and most of them are outside of our selves. No one should go without being loved though
