What life's day has chosen to openly reveal
You find yourself climbing an emotional wall
Trying not to drown under your tear's waterfall

Life is often a two way upside down mirror
Leading you down a trail of unrelenting fear
Can one survive the torments in time's domain
Where the darkest of evil hold courts of reign

Look into the mirror as you ask who's to blame
Expect no true answer within life's simple game
Each has a part to play unbeknownst to anyone
It's never been guaranteed life would be fun

As gentle tears fall from memories that won't die
As hearts break under a strain of souls trying to fly
May we find the strength to know we're not alone
There'll always be a golden path to lead us home

Yet can one believe these words of hope and grace
It's hard to find the path buried within a tear's trace
One day at a time leads to a tomorrow unknown
As each step takes faith closer to finding love's stone [comments] => 5 [counter] => 214 [topic] => 48 [informant] => dvtpdw [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

What a lovely write! It flows like a stream with a nice assortment of obstacles and questions raised at each turn! An adventure to be enjoyed! My favorite line is the finale: As each step takes faith closer to finding love's stone! Thank you for this analogy of hopefulness!
