Array ( [sid] => 179305 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Bad Driver.... [time] => 2014-09-19 14:47:55 [hometext] => The title is very misleading. Bad Driver as you will see is a perception of the one making the statement and not knowing the reason. In Africa you don't dare question the employer [bodytext] => 17:09:2014....

Eyes painfully heavy.
A physical state so deadly.
Body limp and weak.
Road signs look like Greek.
Your brain starts shutting down.
You don't see the small town.
That's how a trucker feels at 3 in the morning.
Yet you ignore the warning.
You push on and on with your load.
Driving all over the high road.
You know you should pull off and sleep.
But you can't if your job you want to keep.
The controller thinks you're a machine.
Until one night you drive your truck into a ravine.
Then you're branded the bad driver.
Sadly you're not a survivor.
Who suffers here the most?
Not your employer or your ghost.
It's those closest to you.
Wife children and family too.

RR, real poet speaking real truth here my friend.
Sisters husband retires, his best friend needs
to keep working because he liked to too much to
gamble in his youth, the day after my brother retires
His friend goes down a dangerous road everyone
knew, and the truck goes down the side.
This after years of skillful driving.
Heavy is the truck only the good engineers seem to know.
Stay safe buddy!
Peace!
