Towing around this cloud of darkness and drama.
Wondering if there ever was a script.

Lost in causes that never seem to win.
A collection of witty signs and court case fines litter fond memories.
Wondering when the levee breaks will it take the fall to understand our already shallow road...

Can we blame reality TV and play the victim?
We sure do make a great victim.
Dreaming for the next generation to bring the peace.
Leaving the hard work for another while we have more play.
Shots. Shots. Shots...
Or as the story goes.

Generation X silently steps into the futures role, while tuning out the power we hold.
Choice is strength, we have the right to make choices.
Lets not follow the path already paved and clean the one that's already overflowed.
Get past the dreaming of the hell of Hollywood or the fantasy on the screen
and see a reality that has been guided into ignorance.

Wait I regress...
This part of the story is old, and I ignored the preachers role.
Until we can communicate and agree to disagree,
we will never lay down arms..
Blinded by money and volunteered slavery.
The bills must get paid.

However at this point of time morality is a fable like a charming prince or glowing rose.
A trove of sight and sound, with little truth.
Another act in this here morality play.

Until another day, I must leave my mind to wonder.
It takes a handful of wit to hold on for so long.
