Nine hours, and

Are you from East Asia?
I'm your enemy! I'm from Oceania

Borders laid in place by fools with
a God of wealth as arbiter-
I bow not to and lift rifle not to

Off to our lonely sniper battle,
You and I?

Nine hours, and
'ere a hair twitched and Why?

Are you from East Asia?
I'm your enemy! I'm from Oceania
and you're from Eurasia (or East Asia, I forgot)
- I'm
fighting you this week (or not),
Oh! Bah!
Borders laid in place by fools with
a God of wealth as arbiter-
I bow not to and lift rifle not to
fools and pawns such as I-
there's enough out there

Yes Invierno, I do want to but how?
Evil it is...
The left behinds finding a frenzy
to feed upon
And all the so called great powers
Playing up, the same old stupid
War Powers Act, because politicians
The so called representatives
marginalize just about anything
under God's green Earth these days
You, me, everyone
like they always do year after year
While we let them
Yes, there is evil, and poor beautiful
people struggle with the eboli virus
seemingly all alone
Oil, Saudi Kings dropping half a billion
overnight like they really give a damn
Iran, the West, The Russian bear
All the tea in China everything
anyone can get cheap at Walmart

Isn't it nice to sit on a board of a corporation
and work maybe a week out of a year
You don't say nothing at all to the short-sided
profit seeking CEO who is the big bad
wolf and there's close to 7 billion people

Rally, now is the time to demonstrate
for Peace, the time is long overdue

All these terrorist come together from different lands, mine, theirs and those others

Sorry... see I have too little
by myself to express

And just next door we don't even let in
Kids escaping turmoil from Central America
--- who screwed that place up so much
as well we ought to wonder

Hope I'm not drifting too much here...
So much to say, decent people and experts
need to get together and speak non-political
in the town square my friend

you are right, more of us need to write about war, i do every so often, tho should more...
