Fate (is not fond of me)

Contributed by ArloDisarray on Monday, 11th August 2014 @ 09:48:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Oh, unruly and unlucky hand of fate.
Why do you strike me so carelessly as though I were completely numb?

No other could see the light which filters through me.
But I control all the colors that make the light possible.

Without my chest cavity being emptied, there would be no place for you to live.
So you must replace my heart, or I may decay and rot away.

Incoherent maladies play like orchestras through your eyes.
Insufficient melodies pour like pools of acid from our tongues.

Non-existent flattery pumps as blood through my veins.
My nonsensical ways hold you back from all you know.

This is the beginning of a new ending. This is the start of a new truth.
Today is right now, but still pending. Right now might be my only proof.

I enjoyed reading this poem
strength of character standing firm in the face of adversity, a stubborn unwillingness to roll over and give in, triumph against all odds , The wheel of fate keeps on turning and what goes down must come up soon ,

And i love this line

I control all the colours that make the light possible.

refract the colours of the rainbow with the
prism that is consciousness

Somewhere over the rainbow
The Wizard of Oz
A Horse of a Different Colour

Pink Floyd= Dark Side of The Moon
Any colour you like

Hi,

Oh yes - haven't we all been there!?
But the grass keeps growing and the green
gets greener.

Nice one, my friend.
