like magic fall from reservoirs;
tiny sparkling drops from tanks above
reboot the Mother's rivers, lawns and ponds.

These tanks hang so close to ground,
ten million tons, drip drip by drip,
their mass upon us, drop by drop,
but all at once? Our Earth would drown.

What sorcery holds them at bay absent rope or string?
These 'clouds', these floaty barrels brimmed,
and what drop falls first to lead the way,
letting go of cloudy home, in so doing, diminishing.

Poet Poe (Oh, he knew)- a special line here comes to mind;
“Science, whose prying eyes revealest all things”.
Oh, Edgar, so very wise, to let the unknown remain
in the realm of mystery science can't abide. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 152 [topic] => 27 [informant] => invierno [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => NaturePoetry )

Edgar Allen Poe, my favourite poet of their few I have ever read and perhaps his most insightful verse amid they all at least unto myself: "All we see or seem, is but a dream within a dream." ? Asking Job, do you know..............Smile, baby upon their little tender tippy toes reaching high ~ Keep brushing and thank you my friend, for your kind visit....I dig your the Light we find amid your verse ~

Even as a nursing student, I appreciate the world from a non-scientific view. For me, science is a wonderful tool to see the world through; yet there is more to it than neurons, condensation, and atoms. Emotions, the human spirit, and conscience all compose a divine world. What a beautiful read this is. Take care and God bless,

Deidra
