oh mr. black snake you shine in the sun
funny you will not bite me- nor i to run
today your mate came into the kitchen
indeed after little fluffy chicks again
quite the nervy girl as i asked her why
this hissing at me as i moved her aside
opening the window- i plucked her up
out she went with a quiet gentle thump
although i was naked i was quite brave
now i plead to the two of you- behave!

Fortunately we don't have snakes here in the UK.
Quite a chilling account though.
Glad you came to no harm.

Hi Nessa,

Standing naked trying to deliberate with
a snake!!?? Does this happen often, and do
you and the snakes cross swords on a regular
basis?

Your words were ''cool'' personified.
Well done! Well said!

Snakes, naked bodies, and in your Garden of Eden? I'll stick to viewing your account as shooing snakes from the larder, and leave the metaphors for others...S

Hello Nessa

Well a very funny write all be it a dangerous situation. Me I'm petrified of snakes. Wen I was in the military they thought us in our survival training how to make a meal of a snake. So I'd say that snake was lucky to cross your path and not mine cause it would be in a pot LoL. Great write as always.

Greetings
Rus

You could teach Indiana Jones a thing, or two. ;)

I love the way you wrote this. It gave me a chuckle even as I was shuddering at the thought. Finding a random snake in my home? Umm, no. The only thing that would be "out" with a thump would be me...You're a brave woman, Nessa!
