on the edge and paranoid
I need
but don't want anyone around.
I'm getting a strange feeling
that the end is coming
in slow motion.

The news shows scenes of violence
and my neighbors music is to loud,
I only have one friend
he just text'd me
and he don't like me now.
I never seem to really know
what is happening
so I
just pretend...
my face starts to crack
as I realize there's no way out.

I continue to exist
in the outer limits
of a world that is so depressive,
talking heads will spin their false tales
and crippled pilgrims keep falling down.
minions of madness
applaud
as miss misery kisses me
again and again,
confusion reigns as Illusions flow
as I laugh
all I can do is frown. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 310 [topic] => 75 [informant] => UNKNOWN_UTOPIA [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => anguished )

It's like reading the first chapter of a story with several subplots where we'll discover later where they go. Very vivid imagery and somewhat ambiguous to me.

Thank you for an enjoyable read.

I trust this is a temporary state. Some nice imagery. I especially liked the crippled pilgrims line. I think it must be unique; I have never seen it before.

it's almost like you had a fever when writing this because of the
surprize thoughts along the way- the lines that just come up and
zap the reader with vivid amazement, and clever poetic brilliance,

hugs n' love nessa

I feel like you could be writing about my life on my behalf with this poem,

as if by magic art imitating life and life in turn imitates art in a kaleidoscope hologram, beautiful and intimately perceptive ,
