Can't quit now, must make it
I wonder if I'll die before the manifestation,
Of my dreams and aspirations
Writing as in praying
God knows I'm a mess,
Yet She still has been patient
I need to be the same way
Fresh prayers don't always appear the same day
I gotta wait on it
Let You do what You do best and put faith on it
What You say stays, let fate play
And I do what I do best, bleed
Imma get the heart beating on death's sleeve, I'm that deep
I've struggled with self-esteem for so long
I've actually challenged myself to grow strong
I'm farther from failure with each day I go on
Show love to myself now, don't hate myself no more
My imperfections make me perfect, more a winner
Not exactly a saint but never a born sinner.

I drive myself crazy when I create
"Can I be great?"
God says I'll be straight
Long as I remember just like Her I'm a creator
I'll be not just great because I'll strive to be greater
And a lot sooner than later
Staying devoted to my dream, keep faith
We head back to the art abyss and we paint
And we sculpt, and we write
Of the moment I see life
Precise-ly in the sense which I dream like
Embrace darkness, be light
Include the colors jealousy and envy
As I use this gift God has sent me
To pave my very own walk of fame
The best success stories are built off of shame
A long way to go, still a long way I came
A craft built on low self esteem,
Always talking to myself it seems
Fighting the doubt in my mind
Building the hope in my heart
Show my growth in my lines
More positive with my art
Farther from failure each day I go on
Show love to myself now, don't hate myself no more
My imperfections make me perfect, more a winner
Not exactly a saint but never a born sinner.
