Well done. I am taken back to so many places on the wings of your beautiful words. How hard to realize that although we offer, some do not accept.
and you have expressed that very well!
It is a reminder to be patient with ourselves..and a sweets and touching testimonial to love not lost..but never gained.

This is exceptional. There's not to many poems that create a tightness in my eyes and a constriction in my throat. This did- I suppose there is a bit of relevance for me here as relates to my Mom.

Your use of the language to convey your thoughts is truly an inspirational bit of writing.
