I don't even know who you are,
I thought I was right,
you thought I was wrong,
I thought I was fighting...trying to be strong.
Time was passing me by,
I was so afraid and living a lie.
I couldn't face the truth it just hurt so much,
I was delusional and out of touch.
I was incapable of love....
Especially trust.
I wish I held the magic watch to rewind the time, and make you mine.
But some things just aren't meant to be
a prime example is you and me.

Beautiful poem...and not exactly in the love aspect that I relate to, but the general aspect of struggling to get past what could've been but won't ever be. That spoke to me the most, that's where I felt your pain

A perfect capture of a delicate nuance. I don't know you, but I wish I did. The way you write (and think) makes for an intriguing person.

Best,

Invierno
