carry with you your entrusted goods
make delivery freely, this deed of innocents
resistance temptation without hesitance
do not be misled, or stop and stare
keep fleet of foot until you are there
lock behind you the old iron door
bolt it twice, then bolt it once more!
this will happen if you make it that far
if you last the wicked woods, and avoid it's ghoulish zsar
he will be looking for a new head to take
do not lose yours, prefer no mistake!
clever is he, that sly hungry cannibal
trickery is essential to pass that wretched animal
you will get through, save from dust
you will succeed, this is a must
for what you possess is not an amusement
it will allow the queen exit from her long banishment
it supersedes any weapon on hand
although simplistic, it's power is grand!
eventually you will use it with unknowing ease
then keep it a secret, to the grave will you please!
go now, the countdown is zero
make use of the daylight, this fairy tale's hero...

very intriguing, i'm definitely thinking red riding
hood, though it took a few reads to come to that
decision, beautifully written as always:)

very scary, at first glance, the hero
finds just no justice in wicked wood
the hero is not a hero thick or thin
just finding a way to get through it telling
no lies, some may follow
others may become lost. Later
it is clear past the wicked wood
past the clear path that delivers
fate. His pace is a loud sound
past fear the one which could never
predict. The query might be too late.
The hero maybe knows.

Lot here, lot of history darting in all around in this fabric.

Fairy Tale? Perhaps no.

Well done!

Peace!
