Stop to look at my face!
Hand me your shining sword!
Hand me your dexterous dagger!
Aah, I bore a hole into my bosom
Plucked out my heart and threw it into the sky
Aah, I cut my head and flung into your heaven
Behold my head that blazes like sun rising in the sky
And my blood flushed as the dawn
Behold, my heart turns into shining moon
And blood sprinkled in the sky turn into trillions of stars
Why do you scream among thundering clouds,
And down pour tears of blood into oceans?
Why do you stretch hands into infinite void?
And why do you dance in the darkness of night
As goddess of death with flowing disheveled hair?

Vern' I couldn't make it to the end. Perhaps my imagination is too vivid, more likely your imagery is too strong (or both).
Perhaps I saw too much reality during WWII
(1940/41 blitzes) . Imaginary blood soaked corpses don't smell. |

| Sorry the last phrase of my comment is misleading.........."smell" (the act of discerning an odour) is not the word I should have used. "Stink" (to give off an odour) is what I meant to say. |
