Array ( [sid] => 17816 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => For Jade [time] => 2003-05-19 16:05:00 [hometext] => I have seen the way numerous amounts of friendships end, over pathetic little sayings by one person. Don't believe anything unless you gain it from the direct source. [bodytext] => For all those times you thought it was me
For all those times i knew
For all those times i let you down
This sorry goes out to you

You thought i was portraying you
You thought your love was fake
But never did i think our friendship
Would tear apart or break

Mistakes were made and people hurt
Yet i stood closely by you
And for all the rumours that were spread about
I stood alone... all the way through

Yet you took me for a stranger
And you let our closeness fade
You'r words do hurt and smile does break
Upon a bed i laid

I thought of all those angry moments
And times i stood by you
Now i'm seeing the way you mistake my love
And the way i stand for two

I try to help you out so much
And say things that will see things by
Yet all i get is a mouth full of words
And two eyes that long to cry

I cry, I pray and hope
That one day you'll see i'm right
You'll see i'm the friend i always was...
You'll break away dull light. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 265 [topic] => 55 [informant] => jayde [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )

Sounds like these lies are told on both sides of this planet then!
This struck a big chord within me.
They're quite willing to believe the rubbish others want them to believe through their own jelousy, so is their love really worth all that much. Are they intelligent enough to really be able to understand and so love us fully, at any time in the future? I'm starting to understand and believe not! And if they will not admit to themselves that they believe us when we're very clearly being honest, then what kind of friend could they be without trust?!

Great write, I really enjoyed the bells this one rang for me

Dean:-)
