The way I feel about you can only be explained with my eyes
I still think about you day and night
As the stars settle and the sunrise tries
to break through the gloom which has become my ever so cold life

In keeping with traditions I will stay back and let this play itself out
In respecting your decisions
I choose to wait for the moment never to come
So, I am left breathing in stale air and windy gushes of everyone else’s love

The dreams that force themselves into my mind when control has dwindled
Entitled, I am to nothing more prolific then multiples of singles
As the wrinkles encircle an old familiar face
I become too shy and bashful to mingle
I have become my own bitter taste
While the pouring has been stifled and rendered a mere trickle
A memory of you and another has become vastly instrumental
Crucial, in my adaptation of events meant to strangle
Suffocate, a dented neck
Tangled and stretched, the beads of sweat fall off my forehead
I am left panting and pounding on the door for your entrance
Naked and defenseless
Instead you made your anticlimactic exit
Against the opposing forces
Occupying demented
Minds consumed by resentment
In and around all that was never mentioned
You never opened your mouth
Pretentious
The fantasy of you has ended
Your invitation politely rescinded
For your brutal honesty
You are to be commended
A fallacy
Of immobility
As tranquility is suspended
Upended and reinvented
A new cause of anxiety
Fermented
With speeds beyond the sight of sound
Cemented, into the ground
Fingers twirl around and around
Until my legs get tired of sitting and fall effortlessly into the clouds
Meant to confound and confuse
Even the most of intelligent minds
Ingenious crimes
Perpetrated
Then reverberated
Into my kind of miserable times
You were my once in a lifetime find
In a haystack of pins and needled pines
Extremely sensitive to the harsh climate of the tumultuous climb
Sharply extended was this love of mine
I won't pretend that a part of me hasn't surly died

spellbinding words you weave here, (with speeds beyond the sight of sound) brilliant line, I understand this line instinctively , I recognise it like an old friend and then its gone, but the feeling niggles on, and you know that its important somehow, --- anyway your poem is great , and leaves me feeling major deja vu, x

How...apropos...(I am smirking).

If a part of you has surely died, then an almighty Phoenix has risen in your place. For this piece is so full of life I am sure if I peered a little closer I'd find a heartbeat. Your words sink deep into the flesh, like teeth. You are your own worst enemy, and pardon me, but thank goodness. Your inability to see your own importance is your fuel for excellence. You are so gifted with harnessing your emotions onto the page.

From a fan, I thank you.
