My heart follows a trail of well trodden paths.
Passing faces those in routine or seeking solace,
And there the gateway to heaven stands bold, a
Monument to the architect who
Draws you to the panorama that with every breath
Opens the world to your eyes and opens them to a
World away from the tiny worlds we toil.
The announcing of freedom, the old wooden door pushed
Open to bring light to a self laden soul, not the world's happiness
But the heavens content,as Nature smiles softly in her perfect blend
Of water colour perfection .
And oh how I can breathe!
Not in the past and not for the future, but in
The moment where dark veils lift and struggle dissipates and I stand
With the world at my feet, not for me to preside but for me to be a part
Of.

Counting the tiny purple flowers
My heart follows a trail of well trodden paths.
Passing faces those in routine or seeking solace,
And there the gateway to heaven stands bold, a

Opens the world to your eyes and opens them to a
World away from the tiny worlds we toil.
The announcing of freedom, the old wooden door pushed

Of water colour perfection .
And oh how I can breathe!
Not in the past and not for the future, but in
The moment where dark veils lift and struggle dissipates and I stand
With the world at my feet, not for me to preside but for me to be a part

Counting the tiny purple flowers my heart follows.............

Your vision is breathtaking "heaven's content' "watercolor perfection".."where dark veils lift"..such seductive images of faith and belief.
I especially like the choreography that leads us back to the beginning, full circle.
I feel like I have walked in heaven.
thank you!

This is absolutely beautiful and I'm not just saying that. It is!!! I love it when poets paint pictures with poetry. And I like the way it pours beauty upon one's life, the life presented here in this poem.

Magnificent!
