You finish what you start,
But how can you finish anything,
When you dont have a heart,
Looking down the barrel of a gun thats loaded,
But my life is that barrel,
Broken and corroded,
I look into that mirror to see that face everday,
Another true quote is that nothing gold can stay,
When I was kid they had hopes for me,
But I am choking on those hopes,
Why cant anyone see,
Just set me free,
Like a bird out of a cage,
That just sets the stage,
For this life that is mine,
This is a new age,
I do what I dont,
I dont what I do,
This is not just for me,
This is for all of you,
The rejected and the lost,
The ones who were bossed,
The ones who carry the pain of not having a cost,
I have a purpose,
But I cant find it,
Maybe I should just go,
Maybe I should just quit,
Just sit around everyday and having no say,
Put more faith in religion and just pray,
Or I could put more faith in myself and have my way,
I will learn from my mistakes,
And will do whatever it takes,
Because I am myself,
Not just another fake,
A message to the people,
Strong and true,
It worked out for me,
I hope it works out for you.

Pretty good effort here. I like how you tried to end on a positive note. I think the best way to learn is from our mistakes, and by the sounds of it, you have that figured out.

Keep it up.
