At the devils door,
Exiled from heaven,
But he couldnt have asked for more,
He craved the taste of blood and the red smoldering heat,
Death was not normal for him and a very rare treat,
They walked him down the dark palace,
Beating him day by day,
His skin so red and mangled off,
It just began to sway,
Only voices in his head,
His brains were on the floor,
The body couldnt take it but it just wanted more,
The blood in his lungs and the maggots in his flesh,
Scabs formed on his wounds because they were not fresh,
Black wings on his shoulder blades,
Tattered and burnt,
The coals on his back kept him awake and alert,
And before he knew it,
He was at the devils throne,
He thought he felt pain that no one could have ever known,
So the devil turned around and said "I will give you one chance",
The fallen angel opened his eyes and gave the devil a glance,
But when he looked at the devil,
He could not believe,
He never ever thought that he would be so naive,
Because when he opened his eyes,
His heart was on the floor,
Blood squirting from his chest,
The fallen angel was no more.
