[bodytext] => When I was young I sang you in my heart. I called your name from empty pews hiding from the monsters that came from the dark. I dabbled in magic, sitting in circles nude to the world. Selling my soul for nothing more then a name. I was only but a child, I saw no harm in going for broke. These fading memories so sweet when speaking in tongues. When I walked for twenty years I kept you at bay. I prayed to you in the evening while those voices laughed within. It was many miles before I knew what I had done. I gave you away, my voice was only a whisper from up high. Blinded by the high. Should I pay for the crimes of a young man seeking attention from deities. Lost and aimlessly dragging my chains. What have I done is seldom slipped of my heart, I am not stupid enough to see the road laid before me. I nailed myself to the road. You were nailed for the part. But I am hopeful that tonight that I can enjoy the moon. The grass is heavy if I had a soul. Bringing waves of change, coming from unknown turmoils. I will share this grief. To those who will listen to me roar. Just let me hear the moon this night. For these past six years you have given me love. As black eyed angels set the ground ablaze around. Not the easy kind, those tricks are past illusion. It is the ones that have to be hurt to fully appreciate. To know how it does feel right. Just remember to open me in the end to the light. To watch the moon fall.
