I wonder if you think of me.
You know I think of you.
We fell out, fixed it up, but it's not the same.
I'm near you, but so far away.

A mountain I cannot climb stands between you and I.
I spent my last effort taking those weary steps.
But it seems like every step I take, the mountain grows bigger.
Stronger.

I can't climb it. I'm not giving up on you.
I still give my whole being to taking those insignificant steps.
But I can't climb this mountain.
I just can't do it.

Now I'm caught in the middle though.
There is no hope, but it's hard to let go.
Which is harder?
The endless struggle, or the letting go.

Caught in the middle.
No where to turn.
Life's full of decisions.
And I'm in the middle. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 78 [topic] => 21 [informant] => twitterbird [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

So many times in life, one finds oneself within the tale your words tell. A honest, well felt and written write. I very much like the imagery and flow. Great write, P
