Questa devastazione matta
Che spazza il mare,
Con il furore di Giove?
Quale dittatore
Può respingere questa tempesta,
L’imperatore di venti, l’ultimo re
Che sta brandendo i tuoni furibondo?
Una fanfara il grigio cielo suona,
Prima all’ultima bestia orrenda arriva,
Che fa il mare volare, batti la pianna
E fa le città alle cenere.
Gli ucelli stanno rubato,
Nel buio del vento matto,
Dai cieli che abbiano amato-
Che come bramano per pace!

Il sole è oscurato dal tornado,
Il tornado le montagne sbriciola a polvere,
E fare a cento brani le barche del mondo;
E poi, comincia morrire...

Il cielo è lasciato bianco e pallido,
Il fondo è pieno di rovine nella sera,
Ed il dolor di quegli che lamentano, quando
Il tornado dopo ha la sua pace arrabiata. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 170 [topic] => 27 [informant] => Good_King_Bragi [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => italian [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => NaturePoetry )

Very good write! I enjoyed it!
Just a couple of things: --

"Che come bramano per pace!"
("That how desire for peace!")

That should be:

"Come loro bramano per pace!"

("How they desire for peace!")

and the Italian word for tornado is Il Ciclone

I hope you don't mind that I post this here...
let me know if you do! :)

Daniela
