It's a monster, consuming all that meet its face. It's a never ending space where you can't help but be lost inside it.

I'm so small in this place, you can't even see me. No one can know I am here. Every day is a struggle to stay above the quicksand that tries to pull me in.

My voice is a whisper. An attempt to scream without an echo. A hollow sound that vanishes before it even leaves my lips.

I am scared, and lonely. All I know is one light, who sleeps most of my days away and leaves me in a darkness. I am trapped beneath this layer of translucency that I cannot seem to break.

It's so hard to breathe from where I'm standing. My songs cannot be heard, for my voice cannot escape from where it is imprisoned. I am a wordless song with no melody. I am just a grain of sand trying to make it to the bottom of my hourglass.

My light gets dimmer and shorter each day. And I am left guessing where I am supposed to go.

Nowhere is home, and nothing is mine.

No place to belong or feel alive. Nothing but guesses and indefinite answers.

For this, I am sad. And with each day, I try to figure out what it is I'm doing here. But no answers have found my mind

You have shown me beauty for the first time and given me a song to sing. You are the words and melody I was looking for.

I had never known a light as bright as you, who could show me the way any time it is needed. You are the way out of this darkness. And I ride with you into a paradise called love. You are what makes me happy in this place. Yes indeed you've said a lot with this. A wild world it is to all living things, then there's Love.
Very dynamic poem.

Peace!
