Array ( [sid] => 177165 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Just awhile longer [time] => 2013-11-13 02:12:06 [hometext] => more sadness and tragedy has struck members of my family again......for my Kelly and Emma:( [bodytext] => My words fail me,heart sits heavy.
Three more loved ones gone
in a short blink, in a single day
do not know what to really say.

I, from a distance, shudder at the thought
and wish to just wrap my arms
tightly around you both
protect you from pain
protect you from harm.
Wipe the tears, that seem to just be
a part of life this past year
a tender reminder of sweet memories
fading,fading away.

There you go on...
Brush the tears from your cheeks
stand up straight,
though I know it takes all your strength
and you make a smile
and just go on,
keep on keeping on
young but so strong.
Losing beyond your young years
smiling again
through ice crystal tears.
And I just sigh, long
and brush a couple more tears from my cheeks
and whisper with the cold rain
think of sweet memories
with you,though from afar.
Just know.......
I love you.

Kelly Jr is my nephew, the son of my brother who died a year ago.... so yes, Kelly Jr and Emma have taken some blows.
on Nov 6th Emma's brother died(second brother this past year) and two of their friends who were friends of my brothers also died the same day,in a horrific traffic accident in Rigby,Idaho.

Heart is a bit tender and sad...............Many hearts are. So sorry girl friend for all the loses. My kids father is dying with lung cancer. It's so sad when we loose family members or any one. I'll keep y'all in my daily prayers.
Hang in their girl friend although I know it's very hard.

Take care of your self and remember we love you.
biig huggs, prayer, healing, blessings,
emy

A very heartfelt and emotional, yet beautiful poem remembering loved ones.

I am so sorry, Michelle.

You "do not know what to really say" ?
I beg to differ, Michelle. First, let me express my sincere condolences. This is so utterly ripe with heartfelt love and emotion. Reading this, it felt like you encapsulated the memory of who you are as a person- a loving, soulful, and endearing being. One who will always keep her loved ones close to heart.

I'm not certain that time heals, but writing does. It captures those precious feelings before they are lost. Great job expressing yourself here.

I think that everyone who reads this will not fail to be moved by the emotion that floods from your heart.
It is never easy to commit into words the pain that things like this bring, somehow even words just don't seem enough.
Hoping you find strength and light in the darkness.

Steve

I had a former schoolmate who died of leukemia. She was 13 at the time.

I like how you wrote this poem. It's amazingly accurate.
It's always painful when you lose someone - especially when they're young.

It was very touching.
