In Search Of The Vision

Contributed by Saira on Saturday, 17th May 2003 @ 01:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: mystical

The night before I was broken,
Picking up my bits and pieces frozen.
Assembling them up with my tears,
What I’ve been doing for many years.

Tossing and turning is what I do all night,
Don’t understand why I feel so uptight.
This feeling I have, is unknown to me,
Wish I could feel it by all means.

Trail of tears soak my face,
Leaving me wonder, what’s my fate?
Expectantly I look up at the sky,
Hoping HE would answer to my cry!

Never give up your call, dear one. He answers all prayers. Sometimes, though the answer is No, because he loves you so. He watches over you and doesn't want any harm to come to you, so if the answer is not heard, remember he heard your every Word!
Beautiful, heart feeling poetry. I look forward to more. Please continue writing, and welcome to the best place in the universe for poets.

Great job describing that fear of not being heard, I loved the way you constructed this poem. It is both creative and meaningful, and an emotion that everyone deals with at one point in time or another, loneliness. A+

Sorry to post twice, but I just wanted to add, that maybe even though you don't realize it, he does answer you. Maybe he tells you things all the time, in your own heart, and you just fail to recognize that it is him there talking to you, through your own thoughts, feelings, and actions. Bless you on your quest.
