Drifting on water soaked admiration.
Lost in school yard chatter, and broken promises from adult politicians.
Fallen on the hearts of mankind.

We all have our own definition of truth, some more obscure then the rest.
We stand to defend it, willing to die for it.
Longing to follow even if we get lost within it.
It's only truth, what is the worst it could do?

Within all truth is a darkness to be false.
Tales told to bring fear into the hearts of others, or to sell copies of the next new york times best selling author.
They say truth has a price.
How much you willing to pay?

To give your life away for one set of rules, never forgetting to look at the world through another point of view.
Understanding that we all have our own truth, no one truth better then the rest.
To hold the truth, and nothing but the truth so help me...
Such a hard pill to swallow.
When we obscure truth to fables.
When we hold another down because of untruthful labels.
To be the truth or not, that is another question.
Does it hold under water?

Hi,

Tough questions requiring straight answers.
The truth is ....................................?

Perhaps this is what's called 'the meaning of
life', the never-ending search for what we
know exists but damned if we know how to
recognise it.

A fine thought-provoking piece. Good luck in
your quest, my friend.
