A sparkle of morning dew on the branches of the tree of life.
Drifting in the wind, joining, mixing, mingling.
Growing in destiny and time, endless time...

Some lives come as quick as a dream.
Farmers fields where nothing grew but the corn.
Pigs in fields, friends until the harvest slaughter.
Dark alleyways and the stench of dirty humankind.
Begging for heat and to escape the night.
Wash, rinse and repeat.

From dirt to dirt again, our lives a cycle of energy.
Bringing forth flowers and seeds.
It was the egg that came first if you must know.
We all walk along its brittle shell but we have forgotten where we once came.
We were only a fantasy, brought to life by the will of the land.
The gift given out from the grains of sand.

Is it our nature to follow the mistakes of our past.
To rinse and repeat the same lessons, always blaming the teacher but never our own stained hands.
Hunting the awaken, to set forth their own image of god.
To create the change they want to see, but care not for you or me.

Is it our destiny to walk off the cliff,
Fighting each other instead of stopping one from walking over the edge.
To march for endless wars in the name of peace.
Following bloated kings and viper tongued snakes in political stances.
Is it that we never learn.

If you could live a million lives would you try to change the world?
Or let it on its coarse, like a broken ship in the night.
Fighting the incoming storm alone and cold.
All while keeping ones head below the waves.
Keeping us all down within the deep.

Some lessons were meant to teach, but fell short of defeat.
Some lives are only to change another, actors playing the short roles in the grand design.
And some lives to change it all.
To bring it down like a waterfall.
To sing the song that has been lost within our hearts.
To dance within Eve.
And the morning down.
To be one with the atoms, forever in the dance of fate.

Interesting thoughts and well written...
Eve seems disjointed and toil regret
instead of full of purpose. We want not to
feel lost, but alive with the land, the place
we live, the sacred hallowed ground, but it seems to be
moving away from us ever slowly slower
than Eve, whatever direction that is we can sadly never tell/ unless there can be hope.
Peace!
