Array ( [sid] => 17658 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => My Loss [time] => 2003-05-16 12:35:00 [hometext] => A small poem I wrote about of my best friend who past away. A very special poem to me, so don't take it, please. [bodytext] => I sit and read the description on the stone,
You lived for 9 years, why leave now?
You left my world, you can never return,
How could I let you leave? How?

I always think about you, I can't stop,
We were so close, but now we're world's apart.
Every time I'm here, tears build up
You were everything to me; you were my heart.

I know I should let go and live on,
But no one knows how much pain is inside.
I miss you so much, nothing can bring you back,
All of the long hours I spent by your grave, I have cried.

I can never let you go, and I never will.
No matter what will ever happen to me, never.
I shall stay here, saying "Goodbye" and "I love you",
I await for the day when we can be together forever. I feel your loss and it is very hard. But like everyone else has said. They are not gone... they are with you every where you go. You have the memories of them that live in your head.

... read the book, Say Goodnight Gracie... it helped me through the loss of a friend.

-Amy
