You were sitting next to me, trying to catch raindrops in your palm
A mischievous rain drop kissed you shoulders, caught you completely off guard
It was slowly travailing down your smooth skin; I was spellbound by its charm

In your melodious voice you were humming a love song
Your soft pink lips turned me on; I knew I won’t be able to hold on for long
You looked into my eyes, and I completely lost the sense of right and wrong
Only one word echoed in my heart, to me you only belong

I heard raindrops fighting in quest to touch you first; some kissed your skin some kissed earth
Your sweet scent filled my heart with desires; the rain was not potent enough to anguish this fire
I touched your hand and a chill ran down my spine, it was so sinful yet so divine
I creased wet hair covering your face line; I pressed my lips against yours with our hands en twined

We were so lost in the jest that your heart was thudding against my chest
Gasping for breaths, holding each other tight a fight in between two people highly obsessed
Desire ignites the world around as we become lost in a sea of love and lust
Spicy, powerful combination that sends waves of passion crashing over us

As our lips pull apart, a gentle breeze flutters over the flame extinguishing the desperate heat
Our breathing comes out in short, desperate gasps, for that instance I skipped many a beats.
The intensity washed away slowly, only love remains in between….
It would have been an eternal kiss if fate had not intervened
