Easily lost through time
The things that heaven didn't tell
About the one that you call "mine"
Some may get so lucky as to truly find their match
But no system can be perfect even I could tell you that
You see sometimes there is a mixup leaving more than one loose end
Many unresolved affections too complex to mend
For he is mine and she is his I never had a chance
When you find the one you're not prepared to deal with such suspense
For how can you love someone when they won't allow you to
When in your mind it's perfect but they don't agree with you
After perfection nothing else will feel the same again
Impossible to fall in love when you can't connect to them
This sad story carries on through all of space and time
Not everyone can have their one

I am here to tell a story
Easily lost through time
The things that heaven didn't tell
About the one that you call "mine"

I wouldn't go as far as saying Heavens ultimate crime. No disrespect to you but most would call that blasphemous. However very good write. It is so true that we love in vane sometimes. The fact that you love someone is no guaranty that they will love you in return.
