The things I've learned in life:
The most beautiful thing in life, is a child's smile and laughter.
Dance like no one is watching.
When they say you can't, do it anyway.
The purpose is to walk beside each other, no one leads and no one follows.
Sing it loud, even if you don't know all the words.
That which you consider cultivating, cultivate within yourself.
Accept others as they are.
Never let anyone steal your joy.
The wisest words in the world are,I don't know.
The kindest thing to say is often nothing.
It is better to walk alone, then be in bad company. (Old Spanish Proverb)
Celebrate all of you.
There is no such thing as too many pairs of shoes.
People tend to fear what they don't understand.
What people hate most in others is often what they don't like about themselves.
Never sacrifice your values for anyone.
People that think they know everything generally don't.
In life it is sometimes a difficult balance between having our own opinions and values and being both patient and tolerant of the differences in others.
I'm not perfect, but I'm perfectly me.
Honesty without compassion is cruelty.
I know my personal truth...
I can no longer meet anyone's expectations but my own.
We never know what we would have done in someone else's situation.
Those that love themselves, can love others.
Grow up, but never grow old.
Do what works for you.
Grudges are emotionally destructive only to the people that hold them.
Life is twists, turns, good decisions and big mistakes, skinned knees and bumped elbows, dreams and goals, and broken hearts, bumper stickers and discovery..
I've met good people, and I've met bad people, and some in between.
Forgive others, forgive yourself.
If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing.
If I give you my valuable time, then give me honesty.
Trust in yourself, believe in yourself.
Live, love, tickle, giggle, dream
Argue for your limitations and you get to keep them.
Sometimes I know all the right things to say, sometimes I'm clueless
I'll never stop learning and I'll never stop growing.
All human life has worth.
Growth is forgetting who you were, to become you were meant to be.-BMWJ

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
