[title] => The first rains of monsoon
[time] => 2003-05-16 07:05:00
[hometext] => This poem portrays the joy of bathing in the first rains of the monsoon season.These
rains bring in a feeling of joy and ecstasy that cannot be expressed in words. [bodytext] => If you are bored of life a bit too soon, and wish for a ready made God send boon, at least once in a blue blue moon, just splash about a bit; be a buffoon, and absorb into you; the first rains of monsoon. Like a child clutching a newly bought toy, the dark water filled heavenly clouds above, fill your parched heart with intoxicating joy. As the rain pellets begin their delicious drizzle, the poet in you erupts into a romantic sizzle. The tingling fragrance of wet earth teases your nostrils, draining all your worldly tensions out of your tendrils. Chirpy birds chirp in singing their naughty rhymes, you merrily start losing count of all earthly times. Soon you see the sky wearing a rainbow coloured jacket, and earth decked and draped in a bright green blanket. Gentle winds arouse the unknown in you making you wild, you again enter the virgin world of an innocent child. By the time the sun peeps out of the misty cover, you are already rejuvenated like a fully blossomed flower.
