I always had a flock around and with me though.
The other mother yes that was me
watching her grow, proud as can be.

Playing dress up, bandaids on scuffed knees
happy smiles, and sometimes some tears
but no matter the moment, love it lasts.
Tender and sweet, how the years have flown.

My sweet little girl with blond hair and eyes of blue
now a young woman, today now a new mommy
a son of her own, I send butterfly kisses on the wind
A few states away, that's all I can do
heart beats and happy tears all for the two.

How fast the time has flown, not a little girl anymore
she grew up!

Hi Shelby

Yes poetry about family is always beautiful. Family is the single most important thing in life after God that is. I can relate some to this poem. I have 3 of my own kids and 3 adopted. Congrats on the grandson. Grate write my friend. Take care and God bless

Greetings out of Africa
Rus
