Array ( [sid] => 17623 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Everlasting [time] => 2003-05-15 21:05:00 [hometext] => This is just the story of something I wished for, hoped for, and it faded away. [bodytext] => "Everlasting"

Dripping diamond eyes, like Niagra in Spring
No limit to the love I believe her love could bring

I held on tight, and fought through it all
More then once guessing, wondering, countless calls

Didn't listen, still believed, and crushed yet again
How can it be so, our love, like a perfect blend

Wishing one day my prayers would be answered
But the pain I feel proves otherwise, like a fiery cancer

Her words lead me on, yet bring me closer
Feeling like Im staring, star struck, at a famous poster

I'm lost in my world of a faded passion
The love I long for, I need, there's no matchin'

This girl, so beautiful, so amazing, but the sorrow is sharp like a knife
What I would give to feel the touch of her hand, down on one knee, "Baby, be my wife"

Now I know what my heart is led to do
Let go of this pain and search for something true

Take one step of faith in hopes I'll find
Hoping that the dear Lord won't lead me blind

I'll miss her for sure, but my tattered soul will heal
I've realized no matter how hard I believed this love isn't real

I kiss the dream, and run to my future
Never regretting one thing because it only made me stronger

She's 4 times greater then a 1000 mile distance
Taught to never give up but this time I have no resistance

Good Bye My Amor this time I have to leave
But, somehow, without this Everlasting love I feel my heart will forever bleed

This is the story of my heart left cold in it's time of need.
