She comes and goes as she pleases
And leaves me to peace
In her arms i feel comfort
She needs no perfume or adornments
None of any kind
She is without remorse in her being
Beauty is formless, it is a feeling
So i see no beauty in the rain
But it is, beautiful
Ive stood in the rain to feel its beauty
The instrument of our creation
And we dread its arrival
As if, burdened by its blessing
Who are we to judge the rain?
What purpose does it even serve to do so?
It is a strange thought when thought about
That water, should fall from the sky
Or is it stranger that it would fly, in the first place?
It is a mystery the rain, that is why i love her [comments] => 5 [counter] => 208 [topic] => 43 [informant] => MickyTwo1984 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

I like the form of this. Persoalization of the elements and what they do and remind us of. And it is like a person who refreshes us by his or her company. There is a lot of depth to this poem. great write.

I've stood in the rain to feel its beauty.......pivotal line and I can relate to this poem entirely. I get more confused when people can't feel what I feel either about the rain or storms. Lovely thought provoking poem.
