I can hear the screams from down the hall
Suddenly i can feel my heart begin to fall
Another night alone in here
Another silent lonely tear
Maybe i'll escape in my head
curled up,safe in bed
I could be or see anything i choose
No more tears will i lose
I'm a pirate, a cowboy, anything i want to be
Whatever i choose, i will be free
There will be no rush to get back to life
It can disappear and take it's strife
But life will never just disappear
It will forever be quite near
So again the screams i begin to hear
Again i curl in bed in fear

Oh dear me. Sounds horrifying. I hope there is help you can reach out to if this is a real situation. Can feel the horror in your poem. Good write.
