The side in which you run,
May not be the one,
As you're lead by a loaded gun,
Hidden from the sun,
Fighting an internal war,
Leaving you sore,
Waiting for the win that is the cure,
That makes you better then before.

Passing through this morning, this is the first poem I've read. Love those last two lines, but you know a secret? Sometimes losing can drive you to be even better than before. :-) It doesn't always have to be a win as long as you're learning. I'm fighting that fight myself.
Thanks for posting! SF |
