As if calling me to cut them again
But this time I'm afraid
Afraid of being caught
And what might become of me
I'm just so tired
Tired of everything
I want to go to sleep
Mommy let me go to sleep
And Daddy let me go
You'll have to get over it sooner or later
So just start trying now
Please...for my sake
I keep hearing those voices
They keep calling me
And I can't ignore them forever
I keep seeing those people
They keep beckoning me to go with them
And I can't ignore them forever
Here we go, they're back again
There's just too much pain and not enough hope and happiness to keep me here
So I'm going now
Please don't cry mom
Just think of it as if I'm sleeping
It won't be that bad Dad
You probably won't even notice coz you'll be too busy with work
So goodbye... [comments] => 3 [counter] => 145 [topic] => 36 [informant] => shasha [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

I can't (and wont) preach as I have tried to kill myself in the past but having survived I can honestly say that death is not the answer. A really good heart-felt poem. I hope you find the strength to go on.
