like a car caught in gear
it cant be put in park
I'm hunting a companion
but walking in the dark
such a lonely place to be
in this life i live
I give my all to my son
& I have no more to give
though I dont have a Regret
for doing what I do
he is my pure Inspiration
why my heart beats true
the picture I was seeing
of how our life would be
was someone sharing life
with my son & me
but we know we have each other
so all will be okay
our bond will help us work it out
& love will find a way
