I close my eyes
I begin to see
The world I have made
But in my dreams

I often return
More easy and free
With a blink of the eye
Every detail to see

As I roam through the world
I find a new path
I haven't created
No origin or past

I feel the wind blow
As if to show me the way
No clue where it leads
I hope it is safe

I walk down the path
Blind and unknowing
Where I am heading
Where I am going

The path is made of dirt
As I walk with bare feet
The path is exciting
No need to retreat

As I go farther down
The road still unknown
I come to a river
No bridge only stones

As try to cross
The stones distance away
I don't want to stop
I just want to stay

Finally across
I look around I'm amazed
When I come to see
The beauty of a cave

I travel inside
Watching my step
As I come to a choice
To go right or go left

I don't know where they lead
Only one way to see
Is it good is it bad
Is it full of my memories

I start off left
And it starts to get dark
I'm scared, I'm worried
Of the voice in the dark

I remember the voice
The sound I use to love
But now it brings darkness
To my world and above

It was her
The one who use to be
But now her voice is those
Of bad memories

Make it stop
Make it go away
As I scream in the dark
I wish to turn away

I trip I fall
Into the dark abyss
As I open my eyes
All I see is....

A silhouette of a girl
But it was not who i thought
While the voice in my head
Fades and I am brought

To the fork in the cave
To choose a new path
While the one on the left
Is closed off no going back

As I walk the right path
I come to the end
I see a bright light
As I exit to the land

The grass has grown
The trees are grand
As the flowers bloom
Across the land

Birds are chirping
The sun is shining
No rain nor fog
It's clearly overwhelming

But its not my creation
At least I don't think
I've never written such a place
From my heart to my ink

I've never dreamed
Never written
Nor seen
Or believed in

Never heard sweet sound
Never seen such beauty
Never felt so good
Never felt so happy

I feel free
I feel grand
It makes me wonder
What created this land

But I know what it is
Its the thought of you
That created the path
To somewhere new

I now follow this road
That leads me to you
I follow the road

WOW!!! Very nice!!! They say just because it's not what you were expecting does not mean it's not everything you've been waiting for...
