But we never ask "what am I doing wrong?"
Nothing will ever go right
Unless we truly try
Try to look inside
And seek out that spark of light
That spark, a new breath into life
Let's wander and wander and try
Wander and wander and look around
Paying keen attention to humanity's call

So oh, hold on to me
Oh oh and let out your agony.

Everywhere is spilled with hunger, sorrow and pain,
All from a greedy and selfish quest for gains
Thus darkening our hearts
And designing our paths,
So like a game of cards
Life becomes an art
Whence we all have played a part
So let's ponder why
Look inside, and sometimes try
Awaiting humanity's call

So oh, hold on to me
Oh oh, let out your agony.

Greed and self centeredness
Sorrow, pain and bitterness
The list goes on and goes on and goes on
Disease, hunger and penury
Broken homes and its insanity
Born crying, lived crying and may die crying.
It begins with you only if you look inside
Try to do what is right
And live one day at a time
Should we not haken to humanity's call?

So oh, hold on to me
Oh oh let out your agony

So hold on to me
My name is humanity
I am friends with modesty honesty and empathy
Even more closer to humility.

Haa, at last a relieving sigh
A fresh and new breath of life
As we all listen to humanity's cry. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 148 [topic] => 14 [informant] => fish [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DreamsandWishes )

Most of the time we ask "what is going on?"

Great perspective to challenge us to look to home first for change.......As we all listen to humanity's cry.Written from the heart with depth of understanding and a good dose of life wisdom with a message well worth hearing.
