Array ( [sid] => 175439 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => NO [time] => 2013-03-16 16:23:04 [hometext] => Assuming that all love is the same [bodytext] => Lovers and sweethearts, partners and friends;
All individuals right to the end!
Laughing and crying while sharing life’s way
As close yet as free as they were yesterday.

But one day the loving just isn’t enough;
(It’s too inconvenient to keep separate stuff!).

Enter the dragon--
Decisions, commitment!
Find what the pendulum love to the pit meant!

Choose what you want; You can’t have it all
Put on this ring, step inside the wall.
Promise me, sacrifice, meet in the middle;
Outside is love, inside the riddle.

Make up your mind; Take it or leave me
(Lovers and sweethearts no longer, believe me!)

Commitments and promises, soft spoken vows;
And we hope that they’re going to work out somehow.
So we chose, and we built, and we pledged, and we tried;
And in all that confinement, the tender love died.

We clutched it and trapped it and kissed it goodbye
Then stood in the rubble and wondered just why.
(I blamed it on him, he blamed it on me,
but all we both knew is we had to get free)

And all our intentions, and all our good friends,
Couldn’t put romance together again.

If that’s what you want, and what you intend,
The answer is no; I won’t help love end.

I really, really like this poem! It paints the portrait of failing love so well and perfectly! I love how the narrator says that "no I won't help love end" Love that line!
Good job and keep up the good work! Thanks for sharing :)

A good poetic write written with dexterity
Nice to read and understand the meaning
I truly relish the rhyme and rhythm created
I have no other go but to give my applause.
