I wrote this in 6 minutes but no insult is intended to those who endured such horrors for years [bodytext] => Dear soul, I read your poem
And turned away.
Disbelieving what I had just read,
Fearing that I could not stand the pain
Of what I knew was truth.

Next day I read again
The horrors of
Your numbing childhood's loneliness,
When those who should have loved without desire
Destroyed an unborn soul

Oh! Woman! Girl! Child!
I am a man..
A father, husband, lover and a friend.
One thiing is sure - and this I swear is true.
Without desire - I love and care for you.
