a slight sound coming from your lips
A very slight and soft voice
sending me some tips

Trying to be silent
but yet trying to be heard
A whisper is nothing more
than a very soft spoken word

Wanting my attention
seemingly it is hard to do
Probably because
I can’t hear those whispers from you

Don’t get frustrated with me
maybe I have a hard time to hear
I am not trying to avoid
whispers from you my dear

Reach out and touch me
remind me you are there
So I can turn my head
and your whisper I will hear

That is awesome. I really like the way you wrote a beautiful love poem and simultaneously worked in you're hard of hearing. That's great!

Thanks,

Tim

i personally see the "whisper" as a metaphor for feelings or thoughts that another person is trying to convey, but sometimes we do need a little help and a push in the right direction. Often i find that people expect unreasonable things in their communication, and this poem embodies that. :)
