Just like a heart beat, life carries on;
Though seasons pass and lovers are gone.
Things seem to pick up after the parting;
As if they'd been waiting for me to be starting.
Coming back from out of the fold;
Awakening sleepily from loves hold.
The sun still rises and friends still smile;
I wonder if anyone missed me a while!
Wasn't love grand to pass the day?
Without ever noticing I was away.
How kind of the world to wait at the station;
While I was off on my lover's vacation!
