Array ( [sid] => 175170 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Evermore–Forget About Me [time] => 2013-02-18 21:10:45 [hometext] => Shows how I feel with what happened when my cousin left for Mexico and never replied to my emails after I promised her we would always stay connected. [bodytext] => Evermore it would be,
Here, with you by my side.
Laughing, playing
Forgetting just for a moment all that plagues us–
The tears and the sorrow–
We shall challenge them.

The morrow is something we don't know.
No one ever does, and we can always guess,
But truth be told, I really don't wanna know–
Because I want to spend these last peaceful moments of transparent forever
With you.

Not many people can compare,
I haven't lived my whole lifetime to contrast,
Blooming starlight like moonflowers in our friendship's skies,
The forget-me-nots and the yellow rose
Symbolic to our nature and our beliefs.

Even though I don't want it to happen,
Something that makes me jealous and possessive and childish and cruel,
I understand,
I won't tear you away.
If it makes you happy, then I'll be happy,
No matter how many tears I cry.
Even if you forget, about me and about everything else,
Then that's okay.
Will it make your pain go away? Then that's okay.

Make many friends, my lovely Sabrina.
Find a lover, and no matter how many heartbreaks you go through
I will always be here, there and anywhere
Supporting you, your resented pillar.

I pray that peace can find your soul.
I pray that the gods can give you my perceived God's Luck,
If only a little bit.
I pray that if you don't resent me, don't forget about me,
But if the thoughts bring you pain even when you don't,
Then please–forget.

Lovely forget-me-not, you are beautiful, I believe it so.
Make yourself a whole new life if that makes you happy,
And even if it takes long, just always know
That in the back of your mind and behind your back,
I will be your unseen pillar of resented support,
Because I love you enough
To let you go.

Friendships don't always last,
But friends can still care.
They can still love and care.

Lovely Sabrina,
Beautiful forget-me-not.

Forget about me, be happy
Please?

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
