Wicked little things

Topic: DarkPoetry

Oh I’m such a lovely little problem
Laying in the sand,
The sea lapping at my feet
The blushing skies understand.

The sea wind is blowing my hair
And it smells like wild jasmine
My body is aching as I peer at the setting sun
Welcoming the darkness.

There is a glint of darkness in me
Though I’m dazed and don’t really understand.
Reflections of a man behind my eyes
He runs much deeper than that.

There seems to be two lives in me
Mingling neath my breast
Boiling in my veins
Sapping away my breath.

Scream, but why?
Searching for the moon
Longing for the night
It can come none to soon.

Oh I’m such a lovely little problem
A wicked little thing
But beauty brings the roses
The thorns bring the sting.

Shhhhhhh I hear him coming from afar
The night will begin soon.

How very mysterious. Admittedly, I'm not sure I got the whole thing but I love the way you described things in this to make me really see the images.

Bonus points for using the word breast :p

Very enjoyable.

Thankies
