Technological advances are ruining the world’s economic structure
We tend to do more things online than in reality
Making our phones and computers the new high street, at our fingertips

Gone will be the music stores
Gone will be the photography shops
Soon we will order almost everything online
And sit rubbing our hands with anticipation
Waiting for the delivery driver

We have sacrificed a past of prosperity
For a future of uncertainty
“What is a job?” we will soon say
What was it like to go to shops?
We’ll all be techno droids
In our techno coloured apple shaped universe

This is certainly something worth thinking about.
Good job.

You do have a strong point, and I agree, we are giving ourselves over. But my heart has to believe that the human mind is so much stronger than an electronic one. We are smarter than ourselves. I really like this write - you gave pause for one to think. Very strong write. Thank you for sharing, P.

Bravo!
We are losing the art of conversation. Words are disappearing, chopped and shortened. Instead of evoking emotion with language, we post a smiley face. We are content to have less and less to say.
I like my ipad, but I miss the fragrance of books, the feel of pages turning, the stately majesty of a library.
Very thought provoking write! Thanks!
