chest, the weight on my heart, the stone in my stomach, the fire in my throat, the rodents in
my brain, the voices in my head.

They come and take over. Relentless. My body believes what they say. I am sick, I am tired, Im worn out. I am done. I want to go home. I want to live in the icy water coming off the hill. I
want to lay in the leaves and sleep in the cave. I want my body to turn to dirt and worms to eat me, making roads through my skin. I want to grow again in the oak trees and the pine trees and the ferns that stay green all winter.

I want to swing in the wind and sway back and forth. Grow big and strong so little kids can climb and play on my branches. I want to watch the world go by and sleep and rest all winter then be
beautiful in the spring and summer. Then be magnificent in the fall. Then once again relax, go away, drop the old and get ready for the new.

I want no thoughts, no feelings, no hellish human emotions. I want to be

I love the imagery of 'I want my body to turn to dirt and worms to eat me, making roads through my skin.' It's grotesque and beautiful. I relate to this a lot.
