She has flowers in the auburn hair,
and she turns away the tides,
with bold determined growing love,
i stay here at her side,
but she can never sing my name,
her song is someone's gift,
and so i'll stay here at her side,
and watch my heart...adrift,
She has flowers in her auburn hair,
and wears a dress of song,
a thought of parting gift from girl,
so perfect... yet so wrong,
and so i stay here at her side,
to gaze with rapture in her eyes,
to sink into her sultry bliss,
until my hope does die.
